• June 15, 2001, University Philosopher professors and students participating in the North American and Cuban Philosophers' Conference at the university of Havana.
• November 16, 2001, Community College of Baltimore County/Cantonsville. Headed by the Dean of Liberal Arts, a general introductory tour of Cuba and exchanges with the Cuban arts university. 30 faculty and student.
• December, 2001, Film Festival, Women in Film group.
• January, 2002, Salsa lessons and cultural exchange group in Havana, people from all over the U.S.
• March, 2002, Northwest School, a Seattle high school, two-week study trip.
• May, 2002, Vermont University, Study Trip.
• June, 2002, A group of high school teachers from California, Cuban educational system discovery trip.
• June, 2002, A Hawaii high school for a Spanish Immersion/Discover Cuba educational tour.
