22nd International Jazz Festival Plaza Havana Itinerary in Havana, December 2005

(Please note that the preliminary schedule of events and program will be released in September, while the final program and the performances several weeks before the departure. Breakfast is included and is offered every morning in your hotel from 7 A.M. to 10 A.M. The bus will pick you up from the hotel an hour before the scheduled concerts and return you to the hotel after the end of the performance.)

This year the 22nd International Havana Jazz Festival Plaza will be dedicated to the memory of the famous English jazzman Ronnie Scott and to the 45th anniversary of the Ronnie Scott's Club. A symposium will be held on this occasion with lectures, conferences and the projection of documentaries. During this event, you will be able to buy some CD's and magazines related to Jazz as well as see an exhibition of photos about jazz.

Itinerary for Montreal departure:

Day 1: Monday, November 28

You will be met at the airport by the VCC representative as well as a Cuban English-speaking guide who will accompany you to your hotel. Look for the VCC Jazz Logo once you clear customs.

Transfer in private air-conditioned modern bus to your hotel. Check-in

Day 2: Tuesday, November 29

At 6 P.M. Information meeting at Riviera hotel with the VCC representative who will also hand out your credentials and pass for full participation in the Festival, all of which is included. A representative of the organization committee of the Festival will also take part in the information meeting.

Day 3: Wednesday, November 30

Optional excursions such as a City Tour, the beach or just a walking visit.

Day 4: Thursday, December 1

Opening Concert at the Teatro Amadeo Roldán

Day 5: Friday, December 2

Concerts, jazz clubs and jam sessions

Day 6: Saturday, December 3

Concerts, jazz clubs and jam sessions

Day 7: Sunday, December 4

Concerts, jazz clubs and jam sessions. Closing Concert at the Teatro Amadeo Roldán
