EduToursToCuba.com is in the process of finalizing an education tour and program for a group of Afro-American lawyers who are to visit Cuba. Their goal is to familiarize themselves with the Cuban legal system, legal studies and judicial system. They will also discover the historical roots and present day life of Afro-Cubans.

Preliminary Draft Itinerary

Day 1, Friday
Arrival from Miami. Transfer to 5 star Hotel in Havana City.
Accomodation at Melia Habana in CP

Day 2, Saturday
Buffet breakfast at hotel.
City Tour in Old Havana
Lunch at El Patio
City Tour of Modern Havana

Day 3, Sunday
Visit to Las Terrazas Community. Lunch in a countryside restaurant of the area.

Day 4, Monday
Buffet breakfast at hotel.
9:30 Meeting with the Cuban Board of Constitutional and Administrative Law

• Cuban Legal System
• Constitution of the Republic of Cuba
• Brief on the political electoral system

1:00 Lunch at El Aljibe

3:00 Meeting with the Cuban Board of Penal Science, with judges, attorneys and University Professors.

• Oral Trial

Day 5, Tuesday
Buffet breakfast at hotel

9:30 Meeting with a Coop Office of Attorneys.

• Structure and functions
• Roll of the attorney

Farewell activity where a certificate of the Union Nacional de Juristas de Cuba will be given to each participant.
Lunch at Las Dominica
2.00 Departure for Cienfuegos and City Tour. Accommodation at Hotel Union in CP.

Day 6, Wednesday
Breakfast at the hotel
Early departure to Santiago de Cuba
Lunch at La Campana de Toledo in Camaguey in the City Main Square.
Stop at Bayamo City (National Monument)
Accommodation at Melia Santiago in CP.

Day 7, Thursday
Buffet breakfast at hotel
9:30 Meeting with Professors of the University, attorney and advisors of Santiago de Cuba.

Lunch at El Morro Castle

2:00 Conference on Caribbean and French-Haitian influence on the cities and its communities.

Day 8, Friday
Buffet breakfast at hotel
Early departure to Trinidad
Stop on the way for optional lunch.
Arrival in Trinidad. Accommodation at Trinidad del Mar on All included basis.

Day 9, Saturday
Buffet breakfast at hotel
City Tour. Lunch at Manacas Iznaga in the Suga Mill Valleys.
Departure to Varadero. Accommodation at Melia Varadero on All included basis.

Day 10, Sunday
Day at leisure

Day 11, Monday
Departure directly from Varadero to Havana airport. Return to Miami.
