The three star Carrusel Faro Luna Hotel is part of Cubanacan. This Cuban hotel chain is also in a joint venture with the famous Spanish-owned Sol Melia hotels, to be found across Cuba and elsewhere in the world.

This new hotel is perched on a small hill overlooking the Caribbean Sea and within a three or four-minute walk to the beach, 300 meters.

The restaurant and kitchen have been completely renovated and enlarged in the fall of 2002, providing a better quality and variety of meals as well as improved service and conditions. The restaurant is now facing the sea, and has a new terrace.

The swimming pool and the deck area have also been renovated.

HOTEL ROOMS

This intimate hotel has only 46 rooms, all over-looking the sea. It is characterized by a quiet, cultured atmosphere, unlike the loud noise and boorishness to be found in some other Cuban hotels, especially one and two stars. Each of the very spacious and well-furnished rooms is air-conditioned. There are two single beds, a private bath-room with shower, telephone, satellite television and safety deposit boxes. Great news for VCC’s Spanish immersion clients: each room has a desk, chairs and a lamp for studying your Spanish! There is also the possibility of privately reading relaxing in open air as each room has either a terrace or a balcony. 110/220 Volt electricity.
Two hotel rooms are designed for the physically disadvantaged.
