For those wishing an extended stay of 3 or 4 weeks total, we strongly suggest that you reserve at least three months before your departure date. We have less availability for three or four week stays in comparison to our two-week trips. If you are planning to go during the summer holidays, book now! For a two week stay book at least 2 months before your departure in order to have a space.

The rates for 3 or 4 weeks INCLUDE the language trip during the first two weeks (courses, excursions, etc), as well as the return flight and hotel accommodations for the 3 or 4 weeks. However, these rates do NOT include the private or semi-private courses for the third or fourth week for those who want to continue their language training. These courses are, on the other hand, not obligatory for the 3rd or 4th week. During the three-week extension, clients can take either one-week of courses or one week of holidays. For those opting for the 4 weeks extended stay, clients can take either two weeks of vacation, or one week of courses and one week of vacation.

Private courses (one professor per client) and semi-private (one professor for two clients) are available ONLY with the purchase of a 3 or 4 week packages. Private or semi-private courses are NOT offered during the first two weeks of the stay. There are no exceptions. The supplement for the private and semi-private courses must be paid in Canada as part of the full payment for the package. Private or semi-private courses CANNOT be paid for in Cuba. In order to have access to a semi-private course, two people at the same level must register together. We cannot twin people up for semi-private courses.

The package rates include:

• Cuban visa (a tourist card not stamped in passport) for Canadian departures
• Transfers airport/hotel/airport
• Cuban professors on the spot to help you
• Representatives from Hola Sun/Caribe Sol (responsible for air, airport transfers, hotel accommodations and meals)
• Cubanacan representative, on the spot: personalized service for VCC clients.
• 30 hours of courses, maximum 10 people per class, in the open, or in air-conditioned rooms, according to preference. 9 A.M. to noon, 10 days.
• Placement test the first day of class. Beginners I, Beginners II, Intermediate, Advanced.
• 32 hours of practical pedagogical activities with professors in the form of 4 excursions during the day, 10 excursions and activities in the evening, transport and entrance fees to all institutions aside from the entrance fees for the 2 evening cultural activities at Cienfuegos ((from 2 CUC to 5 CUC each, for a total of maximum 7 CUC which has to be paid in Cuba.) TOTAL HOURS OF COURSES AND PRACTICAL EXCURSIONS/ACTIVITIES: 62 HOURS.

The package rates do NOT include:

• Departure tax from Cuba (CUC 25)
• Any fuel surcharge that may be imposed in the future by the airline companies. We reserve the right to increase the price of the package due to a surcharge. Those who will have already reserved on the basis of at least their down payment and for which we have had the time to reserve the seat and pay the airline company, will be exempt from any surcharge.
• Single occupancy supplement - 140$ CA per week. Because of the high cost for single supplement at this small hotel, we exceptionally assist clients to twin up in order to avoid paying this additional fee. We put people of the same sex in touch with each other, who so desire. They then mutually decide if they want to share double occupancy or not. We are in no way responsible for any eventual mismatch once clients are in Cienfuegos. We can also not guarantee to have a partner for every request.
• One swim with the dolphins ($)
• Insurances. We strongly recommend insurance, available from us.
• Optional excursions with Cuban professor:
  Trinidad (About 17 CUC, lunch not included)
  El Nicho (About 30 CUC, lunch included)
  Havana (About 33 CUC, lunch not included).
• The 0.35% fee calculated on the whole amount of the trip (OPC's compensation fund for travellers)

Departure not guaranteed. A minimum of participants is required in order to guarantee the departure. Book now!
VCC is not responsible for any connector flight you may take in order to join our package trip. Schedule is subject to change. In case the schedule change and you had to change your connector flight VCC decline responsibility and you won't be refunded.

Reservation and payment:

• 250$ deposit, non refundable in case of cancellation
• Registration form filled out
• Final payment 60 days prior to departure or before October 30th if you want to take advantage of our early booking bonus.

Cancellation policy:

• The 250$ deposit is non refundable in case of cancellation
• Between 59 and 45 days prior to departure, 50% of the total price is non refundable
• Between 44 and 30 days before departure, 75% of the total price is non refundable
• Less than 30 days before departure, 100% non refundable

It is your own responsibility to give us and be sure that your name given for the ticket is written exactly as it appears on the passport. A 100$ fee will be charged for any correction in the name after the ticket issue.

Policy on complimentary language trips
for group organizers

We offer a free trip to any organization or association or educational institute or simply a group of friends when they recruit between 20 and 39 people who pay for the exact same itinerary. When at least 40 paying passengers are recruited for the same itinerary, We offer a second free trip.

The complimentary trips are in double occupancy and do not include the Canadian taxes nor any airport departure tax (CUC 25 in Cuba), nor any personal or group expenses.
