Voyage Hone
The older french agency in America owned by Quebecor. (Founded in 1911) In 1911 Jules Hone and Louis Rivet founded Voyages Hone Rivet. At that time, Louis Rivet was already a travel agent at the 9 Saint Laurent street in Montreal. The appearance of this french agency, the first in Quebec, create quite a surprise when there was only english agencies such as American Express, Thomas Cook and W.H. Henry.
In 1913, Louis Rivet retired from business and Jules Hone continued to operate alone under the name of Voyage Hone.
About 1925, François, a son of Jules, joined his father in the agency. Later, three of the jules' daughter worked there also.
In 1947, Jules Hones has been designated representative of the National Society of French Railways for all of Canada until 1957 because his experience over the 22 years devoted to the use of Railways Canadian Pacific. After that, he remained their representative fee. Jules Hone access various functions, including on behalf of the French Government. He died the 9th of june 1958 aged of 85 years old. As for Francois Hone, he worked at the agency for many years, bringing his many talents in the service of travel. He was amateur filmmakeur. During his multiple trip, he produced several touristy films and presented these to his customer at a party conferences. François Hone was the instigator of the first tourism fair which took place at the Palais du Commerce in Montreal. In 1959, he organised the first round the world. He held the last years of his life writing his memoirs and the genealogy of his family, until his death February 17, 1992, he was 90 years old. The agency was acquired in 1971 by Albert Ricard, who created the agency Terratour wholesaler specialized in french group travel to exotic destination and which he entrusted the management to Monique Hone-Carrier. Albert Ricard led head the agency Hone and the agency Terratours. He had established many ski packages in France and knew all the winter sports stations. He organised in Montreal, in conjunction with Air France and the French Office of Tourism, great deals and he often hosted major stars of French Ski: Annie Famose Leo Lacroix and many others.
Voyage Vincent Hone
In 1988, Albert Ricard retired from business and sold the agency Hone to Louise Remillard. She already hab her own agency and she gave the name voyage vincent hone according to the name of his father, Vincent Rémillard. She decided to create a only one company under the banner of Voyage Vincent Hone. Louise Rémillard worked as president of the ACTA (Association of canadian travel agency) and worked skillfully in the Montreal community to attract, to the agency, new customers. The 21st of june 1993, Murielle Cannels, employee of Voyage Vincent Hone, has been selected, from 5000 candidates, best travel consultant in Québec. She received the prestigious Atlas Trophy, award given by the operators of the travel industry and tourism in Quebec to travel agents recognized for their professionalism, competence and dedication.
After several years of activity within the agency, Louise Remillard longed to get into the internet to create a new concept of tourism information by computer. To devote himself totally to his new company Factotek in February 1995, she sold her agency in conjunction with Renée Fromageau-Lassonde and Mr. Robert Turcotte. Renée Fromageau-Lassonde has long worked in the field of tourism. She led the French Office of Tourism in Canada from 1974 to 1984 and the offices of the National Society of French Railways in Montreal from 1984 to 1989. In 1994, Robert Turcotte worked mainly in the field of finance. Initially, investment advisor, he became a financial planner, district director, associate director at Regal Capital Planners, a national firm and then vice president in a firm of stockbrokers. He handled corporate finance department, which led him to become self-employed, corporate finance advisor. Throughout his career, Robert Turcotte was also owns several buildings and shops as well as co-owner of a condo-hotel complex. Thereafter, he agreed to join as financial, to Madame Renée Fromageau-Lassonde, and acquire the travel agency Hone Vincent. Following the departure of Ms. Renee Fromageau-Lassonde in September 1997, he became the sole director and he took charge of the destiny of the agency.
Voyage Hone Inc Group
In August 2000, creation of the Voyage Hone Inc. Group to increase purchasing power while preserving, which made them famous, a very high level of service. Ninety two years after its formation, we are proud to say that Voyage Hone remains faithful to the criteria of quality of service required by its founders, for they are his true image. In spring 1998, Robert Turcotte became a member of the board of the Association of Canadian Travel Agencies (ACTA) and chairs the Communications Committee to publicize the general public, why should do business with a travel agency. In the first year, Voyage Hone took a meteoric rise to the point of joining, in the space of five years, the very select club of 60 travel agencies in Quebec the most efficient (when there were over 1000 agencies in the province).

Creation of its wholesale Hone Tours and standardization of its brand Voyage Hone
In 2006, after the opening of a branch under different brand and integration with Voyage Culture Cuba (since 1997) an existing agency which is specialized on exclusive products to Cuba, brings more has all the other branches Voyage Hone. The division has developed specialized products such as Spanish immersion course with excursion and that qualifies a tax credit in Quebec. Also Cuban Salsa, Flexifly & Drive, and several other customized product such as bird watching, exploring architecture and culture of Cuba cultural exchange program for school etc… As a result of this integration and professional commentary communication, we unify the brand Voyage Hone for all the branch. And also the new division travel immersion with Culture Cuba will be part of the new wholesaler Hone Tours.
Launch Franchise Voyage Hone
In 2010 Hone Travel Group launches its franchise with the creation of cooperative solidarity Voyage Hone to be co-owner of the group.
